Dr. Charles Koo
Charlie Koo, co-founder of Evincii, is a veteran entrepreneur and executive with more than 20 years of experience in high technology industries. Prior to Evincii, Dr. Koo founded five companies. He led iMedica between 1999 and 2004 to win accolades of leading Electronic Medical Records (EMR) awards. He served as Chairman and EVP Marketing of Envive, an enterprise software performance management company, which was named a 1999 Upside Hot 100 Company and later merged with Keynote Systems (KEYN). He also founded and managed Intellisys Corporation, a successful enterprise systems integrator that is a Platinum Partner of SAP and Oracle. Intellisys was successfully sold to SinoPac Bank in Asia. Charlie holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University from across Computer Science, Engineering Economic Systems, and Project Management. He also received two Master level degrees in Engineering and Project Management from Stanford. He was an elected board member of the Microsoft Partner Advisory Council in 2004 and 2005 and the Electronic Medical Performance Measures Committee, which was commissioned by the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2003 and 2004.
Dr. Pehong Chen
Dr. Pehong Chen, president, CEO, and chairman of the board of BroadVision, is an internationally recognized business visionary in the field of new media and self-service web applications. He has received numerous accolades for his leadership at BroadVision, including Master of the Universe by BusinessWeek as one of the 25 most influential people in e-business, Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and Fast500 by Deloitte & Touche. Prior to founding BroadVision in 1993, he was vice president of multimedia technology at Sybase, responsible for the company's interactive initiatives. Earlier, he founded and was president of Gain Technology, a leading supplier of multimedia software tools, where he pioneered multimedia as an enabling technology for a new generation of business applications. Gain was acquired by Sybase in 1992. He also helped found Siebel Systems, now a worldwide leader in front office automation software, and served on its board of directors until 1996. Dr. Chen received his PhD in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley in 1988.
