Dr. Charles Koo - CEO & Chairman

Charlie Koo, co-founder of Evincii, is a veteran entrepreneur and executive with more than 20 years of experience in high technology industries. Prior to Evincii, Dr. Koo founded five companies.  He led iMedica between 1999 and 2004 to win accolades of leading Electronic Medical Records (EMR) awards. He served as Chairman and EVP Marketing of Envive, an enterprise software performance management company, which was named a 1999 Upside Hot 100 Company and later merged with Keynote Systems (KEYN). He also founded and managed Intellisys Corporation, a successful enterprise systems integrator that is a Platinum Partner of SAP and Oracle. Intellisys was successfully sold to SinoPac Bank in Asia. Charlie holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University from across Computer Science, Engineering Economic Systems, and Project Management. He also received two Master level degrees in Engineering and Project Management from Stanford. He was an elected board member of the Microsoft Partner Advisory Council in 2004 and 2005 and the Electronic Medical Performance Measures Committee, which was commissioned by the Federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2003 and 2004.

Roger Bertman - Vice President, Marketing

Roger Bertman has a career spanning 40 years in a variety of positions and companies primarily focused on communications and ecommerce technologies. As Vice President of Marketing at VeriFone, he started the Internet Commerce Division in 1995 which resulted in the company's acquisition by Hewlett Packard in 1998. While at VeriFone, Roger also held positions as Vice President of Corporate Development and Vice President / General Manager of Network Systems. Prior to joining VeriFone, Roger was Vice President of Marketing for Ungermann-Bass and ROLM Corporation, both communications hardware and software firms. He also worked at AT&T and Bell Laboratories, where he held a variety of management positions. Roger holds a Masters degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Portland State University.

Peter Lai - Vice President, Engineering

Peter Lai brings over 16 years of software development experience to Evincii.  Most recently, he was Vice President of Software Development at Actuate Corporation, where he was responsible for Actuate's enterprise reporting, web reporting, and data integration products.  Prior to Actuate, he was founding Vice President of Engineering at inChorus.com, which was acquired by ClickAction, a company providing products and services for multimedia email campaigns.  Peter has also held various engineering and management positions at Envive Corporation and Oracle Corporation.  He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelors degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

Kevin McGovern - Vice President, Sales

Kevin McGovern has more than 17 years of sales and general management experience. He was with Catalina Marketing for over 11 years where he served in a variety of senior level positions. Most recently, Kevin was the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at Catalina Marketing where his responsibilities included strategic corporate initiatives, third party development, and execution of key sales support plans. In addition to his Commercial Operations responsibilities, he also managed Catalina Marketing's National Analytical group, supporting over $285 million in sales. Prior to that, Kevin was the Senior Vice President of Business Development for Catalina Health Resource, Catalina Marketing's $100 million healthcare division. He was also the Vice President of Business Development for Catalina Health Resource, Vice President of Business Development for Catalina Marketing Manufacturer Sales, and Executive Director of Business Development for Catalina Marketing Manufacturer Sales. Prior to Catalina Marketing, Kevin was with Hershey Chocolate U.S.A. and Mitco Livingston. He received a Bachelors in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University.

Dennis Wu - Chief Technology Officer

Dennis Wu, co-founder of Evincii, has 16 years of technology experience that combines online search, knowledge systems, and database architecture. Prior to Evincii, he was with the Overture division of Yahoo! as a researcher and chief engineer. He was responsible for several key advertising systems that propelled the rapid growth of Overture's search marketing business which was ultimately acquired by Yahoo!. Prior to Overture, Dennis joined Cadabra as the first founding engineer. He played a pivotal role developing a knowledge system-based data integration technology, leading to an acquisition by Overture and then Yahoo!. Before that, he held various architect and engineering positions at Informix and Oracle. Dennis holds several patents in the online advertising area. He received his Masters degree from Stanford University and Bachelors degree from National Taiwan University, both in Computer Science.
