We began three years ago with the belief that search is as valuable to brick-and-mortar shoppers as it is to online consumers. Online search has proven the power of precision targeting consumers who are searching for a specific product or service – a power that has not been fully realized in other media. By applying targeted search in brick-and-mortar stores, we're looking to revolutionize in-store consumer marketing, just like search has done online. Our vision is to provide a precise search tool to shoppers at the point of purchase when they need to find the right product quickly amongst hundreds or thousands of possibilities.
As compelling as this may sound, accomplishing targeted search marketing in brick-and-mortar stores requires solving many complex problems. We have to engage shoppers who may not be computer savvy, respond with precise answers to complex searches in seconds, and deliver a highly scalable network that understands all products and their locations across thousands of stores.
Evincii solved these problems to deploy the first Search Engine in the StoreTM. Each shopper is guided through a simple set of questions through an interactive, multimedia experience and is provided recommendations for products that precisely meet specified shopper search criteria. The shopper can view all details for any product and then receive a map detailing product location on the shelf.
Top retailers and consumer package goods manufacturers (CPGs) are embracing this exciting and innovative media to talk to their customers and meet their sales and marketing objectives.
