Evincii Search-by-IntentTM

Evincii developed Search-by-Intent technology to optimize the in-store product search experience. Unlike online searchers, shoppers in a store are unwilling to spend hours, let alone minutes, on a system searching for the right products. In-store shoppers are also unwilling to deal with millions or even thousands of search results. Evincii modeled Search-by-IntentTM after GPS units. Search-by-Intent allows Evincii's Search-Box to always stay one step ahead of shoppers, guiding and refining searches so shoppers are only presented with relevant options, enabling them to find the right products in seconds.

Search-by-Intent intelligently presents only the products available in the store where a particular shopper is located. Products carried by a chain but not in a particular store are automatically filtered out, which means CPG advertisers never present irrelevant products to shoppers. In addition, Search-by-Intent takes a shopper's specified criteria and only presents relevant search options at any given time, further increasing the speed and accuracy with which a shopper can find the right products.

Evincii also designed Search-by-Intent to be used on websites, allowing retailers to seamlessly integrate their online and in-store experiences. Search-by-Intent online works much like the in-store experience, actively guiding and refining a shoppers search through thousands of options and combinations until the right products are found.
