Evincii developed Search-by-Intent technology to optimize the in-store product search experience. Unlike online searchers, shoppers in a store are unwilling to spend minutes, let alone hours, on a system searching for the right products. In-store shoppers are also unwilling to deal with millions or even thousands of search results. Evincii modeled Search-by-Intent™ after GPS units. Search-by-Intent allows Evincii's Search Box™ to always stay one step ahead of shoppers, guiding and refining searches so shoppers are only presented with relevant options, enabling them to find the right products in seconds.
Search-by-Intent intelligently presents only the products available in the store where a particular shopper is located. Products carried by a chain but not in a particular store are automatically filtered out, which means CPG advertisers never present irrelevant products to shoppers. In addition, Search-by-Intent takes a shopper's specified criteria and only presents relevant search options at any given time, further increasing the speed and accuracy with which a shopper can find the right products.
Evincii also designed Search-by-Intent to be used on websites, allowing retailers to seamlessly integrate their online and in-store experiences. Search-by-Intent online works much like the in-store experience, actively guiding and refining a shoppers search through thousands of options and combinations until the right products are found.
